This Sew Along was originally hosted in an online quilt group. There are 45 pages of detailed instructions with pictures on how to piece together units using Easy Y Seams technique.
This sew along is broken up into five parts; 1) fabric requirements, 2) cutting directions & layout, 3) sewing half hexagons into triangles, 4) sewing triangles together, squaring up the quilt body and 5) adding borders.

For this pattern, you will have the choice between two different versions: A Simple Sue Version and A Controlled Scrappy Version. 

Fabric Requirements for Simple Sue:
Background: 3 yards –
This includes borders.
Light: 1½ yards
Medium: 1½ yards
Dark: 1½ yards
Binding: 22½ inches
Backing: 2½ yards

Fabric Requirements for Controlled Scrappy:
Background: 3 yards –
This includes borders.
Five Prints of Each:
Light: 15 inches
Medium: 15 inches
Dark: 15 inches
Binding: 22½ inches
Backing: 2½ yards
