Inner City Quilt Pattern

Approximate finished Lap Quilt size: 60" x 82"
Approximate finished Wall Hanging size: 45" x 52"

Our Quilts of Valor group leader booked a quilt retreat for us up in the mountains. The theme was Quilts of Valor. We were to work on QOV quilts for the week. The piecing for the QOV took me three days. I designed this pattern for those who do not have a design wall to lay out their pieces. I also wanted to use pieces large enough to use a print as my focus fabric. I love 3D Quilts!

Take what you know about sewing Traditional Y Seam technique and set it toss it in the scrap bin!

There are 30 pages of detailed instructions with color pictures on how to select your fabric, how to cut your pieces, and piece together the units using Easy Y Seams technique.
This tutorial pattern is broken up into four parts; 1) fabric requirements, 2) cutting directions 3) sewing half hexagons, 4) sewing triangles together.

Once you purchase, you will have the choice between two different sizes: A Lap Quilt (60" x 82") and A Wall Hanging (45" x 52").
