3D Hexagon Table Runner Pattern

Take what you know about sewing Traditional Y Seam technique and set it toss it in the scrap bin!

This tutorial pattern is broken up into three parts; 1) fabric requirements/supply list, 2) cutting directions 3) sewing half hexagons.
Fabric Requirements for Lap Quilt:
Fabric 1 - Background (corners, sashing and first border) : 9 ¾” x wof (or 2 fat quarters)
Fabric 2 - Light: 6" x wof (or a fat quarter)
Fabric 3 - Medium: 6" x wof (or a fat quarter)
Fabric 4 - Dark: 6" x wof (or a fat quarter)
Border 2 (optional) and binding: 11" x wof (or 2 fat quarters)
Border 3 (optional): 6" x wof (or 1 fat quarter)
Backing: 22" x wof (or 2 fat quarters with scraps sewn between)
Border 3 (optional): 6" x wof (or 1 fat quarter)
